Re: [diesel_mercedes] Re: Re : Glow Plug Replacement

you're probably better off on the internet.  Performance products for one but most websites covering car parts or foreign car parts carry them.  Just google Mercedes Benz Parts for a selection of suppliers.  The pump Nate talks about if the primer pump located below the fuel filter next to the injection pump.  As big a PITA as replacing the glow plugs is its probably not significantly reduced in time and tsaurus by removing the injector pipes.

Nate,
I don't even know where the pump you mention is!! I know I should, if I ever run out of fuel, I will be up the creek!
I am trying to find replacement glow plugs now. NAPA says he don't know what kind they have, he has to order them, and has to order 8!
MB of Buffalo don't know what kind he can get, but they are $33 each
I haven't seen any Monarch for sale yet. I did see some other brand , I think it also started with "B" Maybe Chinese?
I entertained the thought of removing the injector pipes, but they were REALLY tight, so I left them alone.
Still, it might be a better option, get them out of the way to replace the plugs. My hands are not real big, but too big for that job. Where is that pump?????
