Thanks, I've done a valve adj. fairly recently and filters are good and fuel dosed regularly.

It's the rack damper bolt , at the dead rear of the IP ~ it has a 14MM locknut and a 12 MM head (IIRC) , you loosen the locknut then turn the bolt proper gently and _s l o w l y_ as the engine idles , I usually turn it in a bit , too far and the engine will begin ti run rough .

Of course , this shouldn't be touched until after you've adjusted the valves , done a Diesel P{urge and changed both fuel filters , it's a wa$te of time otherwise .
