A young man I know , replaced the rear springs in his W-123 Wagon with stock springs from a .......? W-140 ? I forget but they raised it up about 1" , a good thing as he's Touring in the car and it's chock full of stuff .
If you can possibly afford it , go with new Mercedes springs (quality , ride & life) but if you're poor , try EatonSpring Co. , they're on the Internet .
