It is indeed the outside/end cell, on the positive end. I just wanted to be sure the car wasn't the problem before I put a new battery in it. I have done every sort of test I could find to be sure. I will just assume the battery had some internal problem that has caused this.
My paycheck to paycheck lifestyle means I won't be able to replace it until Saturday. I will get an Autozone battery to replace it, because it is an Autozone battery and still under warranty. Though not in the 2 year free replacement period. They won't tell me how much it will be to replace the battery over the phone, just a general quote of $30-$50. said they will have to see it. What the heck that is all about is beyond me. I would think a pro rate would be based on time, not looks.
Anyway that'll be better than a hundred +.
