I used the molded cover and like it very much. I did not glue it down in case I should need easy access to something. Most folks have no idea it is a cover, and I've even had people compliment me on how beautiful my dash is. Nice.

Guys,
123's have cracked dashes, it's one of those automatics in life with these cars, along with center vents that won't open and door locks that won't close.
I have recently been taken with the idea of covering up my dash cracks and am torn between the carpet overlay or the custom molded plastic that is formed to my dash.
What has been the experience from others on this board who have dealt with this issue?
