I had standing water in my driver side rear corner light set. The bottom two
sockets were corroded badly. It was also dimmer. I took apart the bulb holder
and wire brushed it. It's now reliable but the running light is still dim & the
brake light is a bit dull. I washed the plastic out but the right side is clear
and bright while my running light is dull. It seems there is no way to take
these apart. I'd love to get in there with a brush of some sort. Lots of rust
which must have left a coating in there. I may try that motorcycle cleaner
S2000 or is that S1000. Made in Germany. Cleans dirt and grease off
motorcycles and motors. & is watersoluble so you just rinse with water.
