Re: [diesel_mercedes] Re: Max, 123 TD's, & ROAD TRIPS

Not me!  I was the one in the hot pink tie dyed bikini that my sister got a picture of some really gross guy ogling...I was oblivious it but she swears he fell down looking.

When I lived there we had no traffic lights, no side walks, one movie theater, one grocery store, one fast food joint...A & W...then all of the big city people that wanted to "get away from it all" decided to bring it all up there and ruined the place.

In the 60's we had a tiny trailer (my bed was the dining table that lifted off the pedestal and slid into slots to turn into a bed, my sisters slept outside in the enclosed tent type area) up in Oak Creek Canyon at Indian Gardens just before the sand sculptures where my mom & her BFF sat on the bridge to fish for rainbow trout..that is if us kids weren't jumping off of it into the swimming hole. When it was time for dinner she had a whistle by the door she blew so dad knew it was time to come up from fishing.  There was a roller rink across the street, but I was too young to hang with the older kids. :( Humph.  In high school I'd hang out with kids who's parents owned the produce stand at Slide Rock, we had parties using smudge pots to keep warm.  Ah those really were "the days".

My dad lived in Sedona for 15 years, and I visited often.  Were you the naked lady they kept arresting at Slide Rock?
