Dear Friends,
This morning I got an email, advertising a 300TD, in Marrietta, Georgia on Craigslist.
Amazingly, the email came from audiolaw@aol.com WOW, that's ME! Imagine that, ME sending ME a Craigslist ad for a 300TD, which is for sale across the country from where I am.
I expect that this is from a dealer who wants to mislead potential buyers of the car. Perhaps my email address is associated with a little bit of credibility and knowledge about these cars and so lends some credibility to a clunker.
The listing photos do not show the engine or anything under the hood, and do not show the (probably very cracked) dash. Seller wants "cash" now. I think that this is the kind of car that Nate is always cautioning people that they have to inspect before seriously thinking about.
Tom
