Maybe just a few of us here , cut our eye teeth adjusting valves on pre war engines......
Most do not know that Chrysler's much vaunted , world beating Slant 6 engines used solid lifters requiring periodic adjustment , into the 1981 model year , even when fitted to an automatic tranny .
" As noisy valve is a happy valve " .
So far , I've not grown tired of listening to the Syncopantic Cacaphony from under the hood....
