You should buy the ' HD ' Bilsteins and thanx to the PDF format Bilstein Catalog in the files section , you can find Bilsteins for most any car you own , believe me when I tell you : the slightly higher initial co$t is more than offset by their longevity and safer , better handling and ride comfort , plus your tires , ball joints and so on , will all last longer too ~ I recently installed a set of these HD shocks to my 1969 Chevrolet C/10 short bed pickup truck ~ one of those (in)famous coil springs on all four corner ones , well known when new as " Motorized Pogo Sticks " .
To - day I finally had the opportunity to drive over the San Gabriel Mountain range , at a fairly fast clip and I was well pleased in the improvement in road holding ability due 100 % to these fine shocks .
Bite the bullet and buy a set , you'll love 'em .
