I'm already as prepared as I can be about having to replace the motor. :( I'm up in the wee hours installing my video camera so I can get several items taped for sale...entire village of Bethlehem. Really I have a huge nativity scene with chickens, camels, camp fires, Romans, I have The Inn but no stable, and of course all of the "main characters" as well as many others, most of it is signed Fontanini from Italy. I also have a collection of Steinback Nutcrackers signed by Herr Christian Steinbach on his last visit to the USA just 2 months before his death. I also have a hand painted Victorian holiday village.
I already briefly checked out Ebay and Craigs List for motors.
I'm not worried about dirty fingers. Bummer that Kevin is only home on the weekends and we don't have a garage to make this easier. Oh well. Guess we're both going to get a crash course in diesel mechanics. Bigger bummer that I work weekends and I hate to drive his gas hog F250, but at least for this weekend that's how it's gonna have to be. I'll earn about half of what I'm being paid due to dumping the rest into his gas tank.
