Hang in there Chip ! .
Take the passenger side rear carpet out and hang it up to drain & dry ,I use the clothesline & lotsa clothes pins .
Then , go by the .99 CENTS Store and buy the biggest sponge they have , I always have several old ones sitting in the garage or under the sink for mopping out the trunk or when the shower wets the floor etc. ~ not quite clean but not dirty either , know what I mean .
It does get tiring sopping up the water tho' .
