OK. She's home. After a years trial separation I'm back in babies arms. My 300cd turbo coupe sits in my home in Houston. She was driven out her from the outer banks of NC by a girl friend and has arrived safe and sound after a 2 day trip through the deep south.
No events, low power on take off, but she has been free from the chains of bondage of a shade tree trying to fix her AC and pulling her dash right out by the vacuum lines.
So, here is the first hurt. The AC ran all through the south-land and keep everything and everyone cool, coming through heat and humidity that old scratch would be proud of. No AC out of the center vents. But no biggie on that front (put I'll take how to fixes on that) just as soon as I extricate Lake Pontchartrain from my passenger side back seat well.
Where the hell did that water come from and how did it get way back there.
Answers please.
Chip
In Houston, happy to have her back, even with the lake.
[diesel_mercedes] Here comes the hurt again.
