Years ago I read where a quart of vinegar plus water was good to wash crud out of your cooling system.Here how I do it drain coolant if new coolant save.pour one qt. vinegar follow by cold water in cold engine,and thermostat out.drive or run for a hour.drain water vinegar when engine is cool flush with water good.
Fill with antifreeze and one bottle of water wetter.
Now I'm down with new technology,so I refill mine with 100% Sierra Antifreeze.It boiling point at 100% is over 300f degrees.Be sure your sender is working right and your clutch fan works.
