Got my new Bosch voltage regulator today - made in Hungary. Most Bosch products are no longer made in Germany. However, if they were, they would be made by German Vietnamese or other folks. Brand identification is somewhat meaningless today. Jobs are shopped around the world and mfgrs. get blueprints or specs and they build to the specs. It's like baseball parks - highest bidder can have a ballpark named for them, except for the Dodgers, no one wants to be named "Divorce Court."

Jim ;
I don't know .
If you buy the suggested item in _BOSCH_ brand , I'm sure you'll be happy with it .
The one I posted , likes to charge slightly over 14 VDC until the battery is fully charged then it tapers off but in any case it *always* charges better than the other one sfrom various off brands .
FWIW , I see them made in Spain & Turkey , both work as well as the German ones .
I need to find a source for new brushes and solder them in as I have two or three with bad brushes .
I'd give this one you're considering a whirl and post your results ~ we cannot possibly have too many good Bosch part #'s to choose from ! .
If it works out for you , i'll buy one for my spares .
