It runs pretty well for the first 20-25 miles.
That also really sounds like a clogged fuel tank vent. The one near the back
wheel. When you experience the problem or even before here is how to find it.
First on a hot day when the car is in the sun for a few hours. Open the fuel
tank cap. Do you get a woosh of air coming out of the tank? Clogged vent. Now
when driving and you experience your problem pull to the side of the road. Open
the fuel tank cap. Do you get a woosh of air into the tank like a vacuum? If
so clogged vent. Clean the vent and the problem will go away. As you drive the
pressure will build and you get your problem. Just one theory. Many things as
I outlined before can cause this problem. Just one little crack in a hose that
looks good. Bad clamp. Bad return lines at the injectors.etc..etc...Lawrence
