RE: [diesel_mercedes] Re: SOoooooo Envious !

I filled up at $3.89 a gallon yesterday; which was 10-cents LOWER than the premium gasoline they were selling there!

I was going to start riding my POS Sportster, but, in the two weeks it took me to burn through my last tank in the SD;

A) Thanks to "global warming", after a dry late winter/early spring, it's been unusually cold and rainy around here.  Half of the precipitation deficit was made up in ONE DAY!  The cold won't stop me; there's been many a time I've brushed snow off the seat in order to ride to work.  But my current position doesn't allow for arriving to work dripping wet.

(There's been plenty of snow in the mountains:  Aspen will be open for skiing Memorial Day (for all you rich Hollywood types).)

B) Price for a gallon of Diesel dropped from $4.10 to the current $3.90-ish level, so, it's again affordable.
