One neat thing they have is : you can set it up to get notifications of closeouts of things for your specific vehicle ($10 Mercedes brake rotors etc.) .
I got it to do this for my '84 300CD Sports Cope but I don't know how I did it so I cannot make it notify me of things for my other vehicles .
I replaced the clutch in my 1976 GMC C2500 longbed pickup truck I bought
to drive to Oregon and collect my new Ural Solo sT Moto ~ I ignored the usual ' beware the bargain ' advice about buying cheap used vehicles and so have been forced to more or less mechanically rebuild it from end to end , I like everything about this truck *except* the l o n g b e d aspect......... it was only $700 with current tags & title and actually made it 30 miles to my home before expiring.....
Rock Auto provided me with a brandy new Daiken clutch and anciliaries (LOTS of them !) for under $200 delivered to my doorstep , this was less $ than anyone in L.A. wanted for just the clutch .
Of course , just before hitting the road , the distributor failed mechanically and a valve began leaking , the fuel pump died after only 36 years , I was able to find enough parts to overhaul the dizzy but the valve ill be addressed when I return , it has an irregular miss @ idle and I can hear one weak cylinder when I'm blowing & going down the highway too . a new fuel pump was only $20 , I'm not pleased it came from Korea but if it works , who cares .
It so far hasn't missed a beat and didn't slow down atall going up & over The Siskyou Moutains on the I-5 , I never had to give it more than 1/3 throttle .
I've had limited Internet connectivity since Friday last so pardon me if I miss any messages /questions .
