PS - I was looking at the fan business a year or two ago - but - once I put a new radiator in and cleaned out the lines and engine, my temps have been rock steady at 85C in Mary (and 175F in Martha). Only to say, I don't think about fans anymore. In LA where outdoor temps can range up to 110F my water temp is where the manual says it should be, so I am beginning to think that if the 25 year old crud and crap is removed via citrus acid removal process AND a new radiator is installed - then why do any additional fan installations, although it is tempting to fiddle around and it looks good.

I was going to replace the a/c compressor, while it's easier to get to, replace the flex lines between the tranny and the cooler. I've got a new reciever/dryer, and will be getting a new condenser with the clip.. The radiator and antifreeze were good.. I'm going to flush the radiator-- with hopes of keeping those that way.. The fan has multiple broken blades, so I was going to go to an electric fan setup, similar to the "diesel giant" setup..

Any thoughts???
