Heh.. I got tossed out of the Jag group. I mis-spent much of my youth fiddling about with XK Jags, 120 through E-type.. When I got out of the service, I bought and drove one of the 11 XK150S roadsters ever made. When I discovered the Jag group, I was severely disappointed to find it a group of old guys maundering on about sedans. One day, a fellow who owned a Mk10 (!!) sedan, announced he was going to install an early 5.3 V12 engine in the thing, I kind of reflexively answered that it seemed a good idea, a boat needs an anchor, and I was gone...for being rude. And I was. I regard the XJ6 as a sort or overpriced Brit Pinto... In defense, the fact that Jaguar actually builds sedans seems a boring marginal detail.. bk --- On Sat, 2/26/11, max_stemple <max_stemple@yahoo.com> wrote:
