but if you recall the car overheating and blowing a head gasket is why I
got it cheap. Fixing the head now but still haven't addressed the
underlying problem of why it overheated in the first place. This will be
my daily driver and while it's torn apart, I had the starter rebuilt,
rebuilt the turbo myself, the head is at the shop, the radiator is at
the shop, have a new water pump and getting a rebuild kit for the vacuum
pump. Figure this should pretty much take care of the basic mechanicals
for a while.
On the servo, not too sure if I want to bite the bullet and pick up that
kit for $600 that does away with the servo altogether or have the
existing servo rebuilt by that cat (Chrysler servo expert who's name
escapes me at present). IIRC the price was about the same for both and
frankly I look at the servo and my eyeballs spin.
