No, you missed mine. I always know the pressure in my toad tires due to
a monitoring system. Even if we are not on the road, the MH sits behind
our house and I can simply park the toad alongside it and look at the
readings on the dash of the MH. I know this setup is not possible for
everyone--although, in my opinion, everyone can benefit from a pressure
monitoring system. On our other car, yep, I have to check it myself
because the sensors are installed only on the vehicle we are towing or
will tow. BTW, I have been consistently impressed by the professionalism
of the tire guys at Costco. I had a problem with one of the nitrogen
filled tires and took the car back a couple times. Was able to stand
alongside their tire guy and see that he was adding the appropriate
among of nitrogen.
Again, I would not have the air in the MH changed over to nitrogen. Too
expensive for the advantage gained. But in the case of tires purchased
at Costco--and probably some other places--the nitrogen comes free with
the purchase, so why not, especially if it significantly slows the loss
of PSI.
