Re: [diesel_mercedes] WELCOME NEWBIE !

Hey my name is Dexter and I have a 1967 200D. I put in all new brake lines, callipers, beaker master, clutch master and clutch slave. I want to use this car as my daily driver (mainly to and from school). Right now I am working on replacing the front wheel bearings and tightening the steering box. The car needs new window and door seals, but I have no idea where to look for them. Thanks.

Unless you're a spammer (yes , we get those occasionally) .

Please take a moment to introduce your self and tell us about your Mercedes Diesel and what you plan to do with it .

The collected wisdom here is incredibly helpful and never fails to help out , no question / problem is ' stupid ' or too mundane .

[diesel_mercedes] Clear Fuel !

WHEEEEEEEE !

I was checking my oil and ATF etc. this morning and noticed the primary fuel screen was once again clear , not a bit if crud in it .

YAY , at long last .

Now I can run the tank dry and add my usual Power Service " Diesel Kleen " additive , I don't when I'm using Startron to chase and  clean out fungus .

Maybe an oil and filter change this weekend .
