I've often wondered:
How tough would it be, to take a battery case, re-make the "guts" to
last and work better. Heavier plates, etc. I wonder if you'd have to
make it larger, to do this, or, would it just be heavier due to thicker
plates?
And, if the top was removable, could it be totally serviceable? scraping
plates or whatever?
