Is there a difference in firewalls between the '80 SD ? the 81' D?Trish, The 126 has a dual firewall, much better sealed than the 123. But the '80 SD is a 116, and I am unsure whether it had the dual firewall. It was longer than your 123, so there was space there, maybe that extra length is what's flumoxing you with the transmission rod.
