Funny thing ;

Once again I drove SWMBO's '81 240D sluchbox sedan and it runs *so* sweetly in spite of a worn out engine and tranny .

It wheezes above 60 MPH and runs out of steam @ 83 MPH if I run it that hard , a thing I never do .

Oddly , in spite of it being such a slug , it is very fun to drive and I expect I'll have it long after my Son gets the Euro. Spec. Wagon and I pass the Diesel Sports Coupe on to the next enthusiast .

I hope you find the right buyer for this fine car Max , so many are quickly thrashed to death by young fools who simply cannot grasp the concept of any vehicle not being a " RACE CAR ! " and so constanly over speeding the engine until it's smoky junk .

I'd love to rescue it but my drive way is jammed full of old cars right now .

Replaced the brake booster and front pads. 
Bench bled the master cylinder
 
Problems bleeding the system.  Using a  Actron vacuum brake bleeder, and cannot get all the air out.
No brake fluid coming out of the front brake calipers.
RF caliper locks up.
Is there a residual valve in the system?  Traced the lines and did not see one. 
 
Any thoughts on what could be the problem ?
