[diesel_mercedes] Kitty Litter Factoids

 



Neat Brian ! .

Back in the mid 1970's I had a mining claim in The Old Woman Moutains , across the Valley from my base camp was an old abandoned surface mine that two guys said they were going to make a killing on Kitty Litter from .

I wonder what ever happened to it/them .

@ 02:00 this morning , we began to get some decent rains , no real ' gully washers ' but enough water and wind to float crash bins two blocks away and down many tree limbs .

Naturally , instead of my Mercedes , I've driving my '59 Metropolitan FHC in it.....

Does your neighbor have an oil dripper too ? or are you just cleverly getting rid of stinky cat litter ? .

Just so you all know - the cat litter Capital of the World is in the area north of L.A. around Mojave or Boron. A major industry immortalized by Huell Howser (Non-clumping cat litter is often made of zeolite, diatomite and sepiolite.)
