This group provides a forum for owners and operators of diesel powered motorhomes and 5th wheel tractors to discuss mechanical issues, regulatory issues (US, Canada), ownership, insurance, campground accommodations, trip reports/suggestions, and other topics relevant to large RVs and the people who drive them.

They make coolant heaters you insert in the lower radiator hose, they work very well indeed and provide super fast heat too .
Avoid dipstick heaters at all costs and try to remember to always adjust your valves at the end of Summer as they're the # impediment to rapid cold starting .

That one looks really nice .
I'm not a huge W114 fan, I nearly bought one once, glad I didn't in retrospect .
Even here in car crazy Los Angeles, finding an un thrashed W114 is getting very hard .

Those were _very_ stout rigs ! .
the 5 speed Clark tranny would have been a good option for the Chevrolets but never was that I remember .
The 302 is a legendary engine that powered many a race car or hot rod back in the day, hard to find these days .
