[diesel_mercedes] Bumper trim repair redo

I imagine so, ask Tom @ The Classic Center or go to the P-A-P near you and get some good used ones....

FWIW, I'm always buying little bits and bobs from them, mostly plastic stuff I only want to fix _once_ .

Trim clips, rubber grommets, coupe specific parts, European bumper parts....

Do they still sell those sliding plastic strips?

? Why not just buy the proper plastic clips ? .

The W123's in the pick-a-part near you had good W123 bumpers when I was there last month...

I had to redo my front bumper trim repair today, as the construction
adhesive I last used failed within a month. Today I used some marine
sealant which has been recommended online for various attachment needs.
Once the bumper trim loosened, all the tabs broke leaving the trim
hanging off the bumper, only being held on by the license plate bolts.
The plan was to glue the inner plastic trim mount to the bumper, and not
worry about it for a decade. I also put a screw in the end of the trim,
last mounting tab, to hold it tight.

Hopefully, this round works fine. The pic is just the tape holding the
trim in place.

I also replaced my truck lock Actuator and have a working vacuum system
again.

Thank you Thom at the Classic Center.
