Well, if you need one, I have one I pulled from the '83 TD I bought at the salvage auction and parted out.  Was smashed pretty good in the front.  It shifted just fine for the 8-ish blocks driven from the auction house to my shop.  I'm not sure how many miles were on the car (245k comes to mind), but the transmission is marked in that yellow marking paint they use at salvage yards, so it had been swapped out at least once before.  I'll let it go for scrape pricing, $50.  I'm not sure just how to get it to the OC, though....

The 1-2 shift is fine, and it doesn't really have " Massive flaring going into second," so I don't think it's B2, though I'll let my guy give his opinion.

My tranny is still fine for use, just getting a little weird, though my other worry is that if I wait too long for a rebuild, the guys who really know these trannys will retire.
