FWIW ;

Kopper Kote is made for head gaskets .

For rocker boxes and oil pans etc. on your crappy non Mercedes engines , you should try " The Right Stuff " also made by Permatex , it's available in the tubes or , much better , in a nifty Foo-Foo Can so you can apply it much more carefully and accurately , a 3/16" thin bead does the trick .

In general , Anerobic Sealants are bad because when you use too much , the mushed out extra bit drops into the engine and tends to clog up things that really shoud't be clogged , resulting in catastrophic engine failure when you're out late with SWMBO whilst wearing you best duds or when you're showing it to the prospective next owner , or your PIA brother in law......
