This group provides a forum for owners and operators of diesel powered motorhomes and 5th wheel tractors to discuss mechanical issues, regulatory issues (US, Canada), ownership, insurance, campground accommodations, trip reports/suggestions, and other topics relevant to large RVs and the people who drive them.

Ends in less than 2 days. Runs but not well. Someone save her. It was at $200 last I looked. Wish I was close so I could get some parts!!!
Anyone have any interior door handles or window cranks that for 1965 190? If anyone does and wants to sell, please let me know. Mine are pitted and lumpy and can't be fixed. Also anyone in the midwest know where I can get a windshield for a decent price?
Thank you!!!

Chilton's is another brand from Haynes.
According to wikipedia your 1967 200D is a W110 chassis? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercedes-Benz_W110
W115 - http://www.niemoeller.de/catalog-F/
W110 - http://www.niemoeller.de/catalog-D/
I show these last two links because this is an expensive place but they also show almost every part with a part number.
There are several people on this site that work for US-based parts houses; they'll chime in if you are looking for something.

Thanks. I am also from
:). Oregon I checked rock auto, thought it looked good. Next time I need a part I'll check there. I don't think I have a repair manual but I believe I have an owners manual or a service manual. I also have a book on the w115 bodies. I don't need new windows just the seal around them (maybe you got that and I just didn't understand what you said), as well as the seals on the door. I think installing the door seals are pretty safe for me to do. I had to fix the thing that moves the window up and down already and didn't have a problem with the glass so I think I am fine there too.

There MAY be some adjustment possible of the steering box. Be careful. If you make a smidge too tight, the steering won’ re-center to a straight line after turning a corner. Do you have a repair manual for you car?
I would have a professional glass place provide the window and new seal, AND install them. Windows are tricky and break if handled the least little bit wrong.
For parts, I check on eBay. Next would be https://www.rockauto.com/

Hey my name is Dexter and I have a 1967 200D. I put in all new brake lines, callipers, beaker master, clutch master and clutch slave. I want to use this car as my daily driver (mainly to and from school). Right now I am working on replacing the front wheel bearings and tightening the steering box. The car needs new window and door seals, but I have no idea where to look for them. Thanks. Sent from Yahoo Mail on Android |
