They are also apparently very expensive to work on. Had a co worker that had one, she said the brake job was $1,000! I was blown away! I said "can't you husband do it?" she said "OH NO! He'd probably kill me!" I said "well, then I guess it's a good thing he earns enough to pay someone else to do the work" Last time I drove by my old work place I noticed in her usual parking spot was a SUV, no more Jag.
When something goes wrong in a jag, it seems like it'll most likely be
more expensive to fix then the car is worth, so you see plenty of jags
at the PAP. This happened to someone I work with, as she just dumped
hers after she got a repair quote, even though the car was otherwise in
great shape. It just wasn't worth fixing. I asked what she did with it,
as I thought it might make a good electric conv, though she just gave it
to her dad, as he likes to tinker...like I need another project...
