Bigger Than We Ever Imagined Alix P. Shedd here. I'm the owner of this whacky adventure called ReInvent the Wheel. Some of you know me, most of you are probably more familiar with Carla and Grace as our sales team. I'm now hitting my sixth year investing myself deeply into this project--often more a labor of love than of profit.
After moving locations this year and getting deeper into offering new and rebuilt parts for our customers, it slowly started dawning on me the direction that we're heading. We started with basic daily driver restorations and used parts, primarily centered around the OM617 motor and the models it was used in.
This fall it became clear that we have a massive head start in becoming the world's largest supplier of Restoration Parts for Classic Mercedes. What does this mean for 2017? Well, we've already started offering new parts and rebuilt parts and plan to continue to roll those out more and more. We'll be offering rebuilt suspension parts, restored interior wood and exterior aluminum trim, rebuilt gauges, reconditioned Becker stereos, refinished OE wheels and more. We know that our customers appreciate OE Mercedes-Benz quality over aftermarket parts any day, and that's why we're making it our priority to offer rebuilt OEM parts whenever possible. In addition, we're very excited to continue to expand the models that we work with, specifically acquiring more older vehicles. This means W108, W109, W110, W111, W112 and W121 models, in addition to some W113 and more R107 SL parts as well.
