So Monday I rolled out of bed and set to work, spent about six hours and go way more done than I'd hoped but I also was suffering badly so I took to - day off to spend with SWMBO .

Back to it to - morrow morning, I plan to work more gently .

My wagon is a 1984 European spec. graymarket import .

Whenever SWMBO no longer wants it, my Son has asked for it .

Everywhere it goes, folks stop to look at and comment on it, always asking if we'd like to sell it .

I need to fix the AC ~ a hose blew the last time I charged it, maybe the expansion valve is stuck .

I'd like to replace all the hoses , flush the entire system and I'm pretty sure I have a brandy new OEM expansion valve squirreled away that's designed for R134a ~ the new Freon 134a runs at lower pressures .

Lotus 4 cylinder engine has low compression in number 2 cylinder, compression comes up with wet test, so likely rings...
Carbs 'rebuilt' by a local shop, I do not think they got it right...
Pertronix ignition, aluminum radiator.
Interior is pretty much a dog house...
Car is in Los Angeles.
