[diesel_mercedes] Fuel Economy Check '84 300CD Slushbox

 

Mixed driving, about 200 miles in Las Vegas traffic, the rest on the open road, all with the AC cranked up as far as it'l go .

Low fuel lamp on at 343 miles .

363 miles, 21.8 MPG .

Biobor used .

I filled up in Barstow, Ca. where it was 108* F, changed the nearly clean filter just because, the place I made it to with the low fuel lamp glowing and SWMBO yammering nonstop about why didn't I fill it up in Las Vegas where I'd found major branded Diesel fuel for $3.27 gallon, only had B20 bio Diesel ~ it's medium yellow, a color I dislike in any fuels and don't trust but we'll see .
