Hi Nate,
Good seats are worth it.
I haven't got a new oil pressure gauge yet, though I haven't checked around too much, as I've been busy upgrading the suspension on the Van.
Let me check a few leads nearby, and if they fall through, I'll take you up on your offer.
Thanks
Rob

I went to a local LKQ junkyard to - day and bought the nice firm driver's seat out of a 1981 W123 280E sedan .
It has Navy Blue Herringbone cloth Upholstery being a graymarket car that had a 5 speed manual box to compliment the M110 DOHC engine ~ I imagine it was rather speedy when road worthy .(the tranny is long gone already)
Anyway, the adjusters were both frozen and I had no helper to hold the release levers as I kicked it loose from the back seat, this means I spent about two hours getting it out but now I know not only the secret of moving the stuck seat but also the proper order necessary to follow so getting the seat out isn't a royal P.I.T.A. and you don't have to break any unobtanium plastic bits either .
Once the seat is unbolted you recline it fully so it's more than less flat and will more easily come out the side rear door and then into the back seat of your parts chaser, in this instance my 1982 240D .
I took pictures of the seat as found, grimy with cigarette buts and white sweat stains, then another with it laying reclined in my back seat but the computer says "ERROR : INVALID HANDLE" whatever the heck that means so I cannot share pix right now .
Too bad as I (as always) have a specific plan to clean it up and make it look nice for the time I plan to use it before having it re covered in faux MB Tex .
This seat bottom is stiffer than the other one I bought last year .
The horsehair squabs are *very* nice too ~ I hope to re move and re install them after I cover the bare springs with burlap or muslin .
I'm unsure if I should have also bought the passenger side one, they nipped me $50 total for this seat and that kinda bent my budget but good form seats are a joy to sit in....
So, that's my Valentine's Day story, I stopped on the way to SWMBO's house and get flowers and a nice card, snuck that all into the kitchen and carefully arranged the two dozen red and white roses into a glass vase on the table with the card I filled out before she knew I was home .
Maybe I'll take to - morrow off to recuperate a bit .
? Rob, do you still need an oil pressure gauge ? it turns out there's _two_ different versions (at least) and I think I might have one I can spare .
-Nate
