I had a buncha aluminum body ones , all tested and working fine , no one wanted them so I gave them all away after fixing up my '80 Coupe .

Good riddance ! I learned how to make the wretched system work and next time (I hope there never is one) I'll go straight to the Unwired Tools Digital Servo Upgrade instead .

Thanks for the advice. I came up with the best idea of all, I recruited
my 16yo Nephew to carry all my tools, and remove the majority of my
parts for me! I bought him food, admission, and whatever parts he
wanted for his '91 Escort GT. So maybe $25 $30, and we had good bonding.

Sadly, I found no w123, but I did get a grill, excellent tailights and
euro bumpers off of what was labeled as an '80 300se. It had a build
date of '80 but was obviously/ must have been an '81 since that is the
first w126? I was EXTREMELY excited to put them on my SDL, but a quick
google makes me think they won't work.

I took some pics because I was surprised to see manual seats and
leather. The dash is in real good shape if anyone wants to get it. @
Portland South yard. Notice in the pictures how someone destroyed the
wood to get at something...

2 w116? '73 and '74, I figured they had allot of good parts and may be
becoming rarer at yards. Nothing I could use. I did try to remove two
taillights that were in good shape, but they didn't come easy and I
figured I would rather not break them, and leave them for someone who
has one and the know how. I certainly thought the older bumpers looked
better than the 5mph type.
