The 240D is running sweetly .

I'm keeping it around 65MPH unless I'm charging a hill, then I run it up to 79MPH. no faster .

Everyone else left before me this morning as I needed my 7-11 Coffee and got sidetracked talking to a local Brasero fresh from the fields, he gave be a BIG bunch of freshly picked celery (yum !) then I stopped to chat up a Cop yet I still managed to make both the lunch stop then the hotel before all the Sports Cars.....

Hm .

My first tank yielded 27. MPG, that's the best so far since the engine rebuild .


Talking to the Cop I let it idle for 15 minutes and when I accelerated from the berm I saw a small blue could out the exhaust .


I bet they mis calibrated either the injectors (I have a soft miss @ idle) or the IP .


I plan to find out and rectify it .


The Desert is BEAUTIFUL  out to - day ! .
