Ha, Ha, a quart for 500 gallons.. Yea the thing starts and runs fine when warm, wont start with out my propane torch when cold(winter). I'm not gonna dump 300 gallons of fuel. But I am thinking of installing a small tank with fresh fuel for starting and then switching for running. The old fuel is not gonna hurt anything. I will add cetane booster and yes, in a car it probably would have prob;ems such as not enough power. But with the generator, mostly, it will just be charging batteries. Max
