550 miles (!!) , AC & Startron used , 30 MPG's again thanx to the fitment of good used _TESTED_ injectors , a routine cold valve adjustment and HOT oil and filter change .
I took my Son , his Wife and my Grand Daughter out to dinner last night and he commented how much better it runs since these simple repairs .
@ 550 miles on one 21 gallon tank of Diesel , I am very well pleased with the tank up grade indeed ~ it only took 18 + gallons to fill it right to the tippy top .
I _still_ have coffee colored fuel in the clear plastic primary intake fuel screen but sooner or later I'll kill the fungus , I still add Startron to every fillup and there's very little deris or chunks in there now so I know I'm gaining on it .
347,000 + miles , only 300 # compression in # 1 cylinder , as soon as I kill off the fungus I think it's time to rebuild the tranny and overhaul the engine .
Then who knows ? maybe new paint too
