[diesel_mercedes] Re: Gas pedal Linkage

Dam you all to ......

No not really, all this talk, and this morning my gas pettal is sticking on release.

Whoud be good as a 35 mph cruise, but when its sticking I am going for the brake.

It did free up a bit on my 40 mile commute to work, we'll see how it is on the way home and give everything a cleaning with some WD, followed by some lube.

I was thinking the same thing, though would suggest pulling on the
linkage from under the hood to see if it's binding up somewhere. If it's
all smooth, and has full action, then it's something wrong with the
pedal and/or linkage at the firewall.

Re: [diesel_mercedes] Bendix vs ATE rear calipers 82 240D

You're right Jim. You need a matched pair for each axle.
The FLAP did you wrong. Explain the situation, and have them fix it.

Eyeballing it doesn't look like a difference, but everyone says make sure they're a pair of the same brand. Someone talk me down from doing this job on Friday if I shouldn't put them on like that.
