[diesel_mercedes] W123Oil Gauge

 

Goddammit ;

I hate when my crippled/bent fingers touch the wrong key and a whole post *vanishes* just before I send it .

Milliken P-A-P has two W123's ~ a '79 Coupe with the gauges all there but scattered around the interior and an '81 240D that has the binnacle intact .

Both cars are N/A and have untouched injectors if you needs cores . one has very dirty fuel .

BTW : there's a little thing you're supposed to insert in the upper end of the oil pressure line that stops the jittering of the oil pressure gauge at hot idle ~ this is what causes the gauges to fail and begin leaking . it's an inexpen$ive part from Mercedes, let me know if your gauge jitters and I'll go hunt up the part # .

If no one on this group has an extra working Instrument cluster, the local Craigslist has a few folks parting out MBs, so I'll check there before going to eBay.
