I got a nice bix box in the mail from Peach Parts yesterday , it contains both the oil cooler to engine hoses my '84 TD needs .
Only the upper one is weeping but the labor involved makes it a smarter move to replace both whilst I'm in there .
Sadly mercedes stopped making these parts , my bet is : if you're on the fence about buying some OEM Mercedes part you'd better get on it ASAP .
I have the car in my driveway @ home , driver's door still disassembled waiting for the WWI Surplus Gun Grease to show up , i'm looking forward to addressing the door checks , weeping oil hoses and a few other small things so I can get it out of my hair and get back to the 240D and then the heater issues on my beloved Sports Coupe...

I got ours at Costco (or maybe Sams Club) maybe 5 years ago. Happy as a bug in a rug, but you will need 2 or 3 strong bodies to make it happen. Price was in the $750-$1000 range but I would do it again in a heartbeat.
