[diesel_mercedes] Re: Oil Pan skid plate

Excellent idea. I almost did once as I have 5 miles of gravel and dirt road to get home. Find a car that comes with one, like a 1981 Subaru and adapt it. Or maybe a older truck will work. max

[diesel_mercedes] Mileage Check

This from my 1983 w123 300d's -

25 mpg (+/-1 depending on hwy vs city streets) is pretty standard on both of my MB's. Strangely, this is what the owners manual says too. I think that is good - after 29 years I still get what the manual promised.

[diesel_mercedes] Seatbelt recepticle pre 1980 needed.

The one with the one red button on back or narrow side.    Passenger front seat. Just the recepticle not the belt.  Are they flippable?  Then either one.  Lawrence Rhodes......
