This group provides a forum for owners and operators of diesel powered motorhomes and 5th wheel tractors to discuss mechanical issues, regulatory issues (US, Canada), ownership, insurance, campground accommodations, trip reports/suggestions, and other topics relevant to large RVs and the people who drive them.

It was 38* here last night .
I hope all here have done a routine valve adjustment , intake fuel screen replacement and added some White Bottle Diesel Kleen to their fuel to ensure easier starting this , the supposedly coldern'ell El Nino Winter .
The routine valve adjustment is probably the single most important thing you can do to facilitate cold weather starting .
Also , following the Mercedes cold weather starting drill as it really does work , I used it on my old '78 NA Diesel Coupe when it's engine was totally worn out as it was my daily driver at the time and I leave for work well before sunup every day .
2016 will be the year of the monkey , I hope everyone has a good one .

Cold here in the SF bay area, 34 at 6:30 this morning. The 220D heater really puts out the
heat. Need to get some road miles on it, my daughter drove 'Mr Benz' during the holidays.
It was her high school car. (12 years ago)
Happy New Year
