What if the wrong fuel was put into the supply tank at the station?  I'm suspicious since the car ran very well before fueling.

Here is the simple truth. Battery companies are in the business of selling
you batteries. If you had a lead acid battery that lasted for 50 years
without needing to be replaced, that would sabotage their profits. This
isn't some wild conspiracy theory, it is just good business...from their

Thanks for the vibes and ideas.  We're loading up to head over to Cedar Hill and the car.  We're determined to at least figure out why it won't stay running. 

It frustrating for me because it was my great idea to buy this car...my other car had over heated 2x in one week when it was 115, one day was when I was dressed for a job interview.  I had to wait over an hour for Kevin to get there.  So this purchase was sort of a knee jerk reaction.  I'm stuck 50 miles away from the car so I can't even go out and tinker with it.  It's frustrating for Kevin because he's never worked on a diesel nor a MB and he hates being beaten.
