it looks to me like it may have had detroit iron under the hood and still has a detroit tranny, or at least shift linkage. I can't get over how it has no rust. --- On Wed, 9/12/12, Nate <vwnate1@yahoo.com> wrote:

You guys are supposed to pile in all the neighbors, go for a drive, have a picnic or something, but don't forget to look at the right moment. It's such a big deal here, in the sticks(or the bush if you live up north), usually a party that lasts a week.Max

Turning back into the driveway at home it hit 200,001, never had a car that I likes so much with that many miles on it.

This W-114 Coupe is a dandy one to re power with whatever old drivetrain you have lying around.... I picture it with an OM617 Turbo Diesel slushbox . It's cheap too ! no SMOG testing ever . -Nate |

I saw some good stuff in there but I assume none of the new parts are for sale ? .
Folks here who have regular old radios are well advised to try one of Brian's Becker Elecronics , they're simply _KILLER_ good stereos when coupled to good quality speakers .
I just bought original dashboard speakers for my Diesel Sports Coupe and can't wait to get 'em in .
Tom @ The Classic Center sold them to me affordably and shipped right to my hovel .
