Hi all!
Just writing to let you guys know I'm going well with this insane
lockdown in my home state of New South Wales, Australia. I'm also still
working as my work has been classed as "essential", even though I am a
meagre labourer in an abattoir (slaughterhouse to you Americans) - as
we're part of the food chain for us, we're all still employed! Hope
everyone else is not going crazy or are as bored as I am - I'm itching
to get out with my camera and photograph some Mercedes-Benz trucks at
the moment!
I'll be a happy man when these lockdowns are relaxed in my home town -
we had 6 cases within our local government area (LGA), Dubbo Regional,
but all six have recovered so we're down to no cases now. We were stable
with six and have not seen any increase in that count so I'm pretty sure
our region may get given a lockdown relaxation, but that is still up to
our state government as to when these relaxations will come into place
and they've given us another month to get through before the state even
reconsiders the lockdowns!
Stay safe and healthy, wash your hands regularly, use hand sanitiser
and, above all, keep on social distancing! The curve will flatten, as it
has here in 'Straya!
