Yea, I have a 4" foam layer on my roof too, from previous owner, I did the crawl around under the house insulation, and fixed the ducts, which helped a lot too, otherwise block walls, and large windows.
I wondered about the screen too, yet did buy a pump off Rock auto for a replacement, If it's obviously the screen, I just swap that.
Thanks

I had the flat roof re done a few years back in FOAM ~ wow what an improvement .
There's zero insulation anywhere, I've had a few walls open for repairs over the decades .
Look at the in tank pickup screen ~ they get clogged slowly but surely .
If you can possibly afford it, use the original pump from Toyota ~ many of the aftermarket Chinese are junk and fail soon .
I got my little old 1984 Honda CB125S (E) running and one kick starting, then I misplaced the exhaust header collets, I bought more on E-Bay but will have to wait a week or so before i can ride, dagnabbit .

Nate,
Glad to hear the headlight switch is fixed.
I doubt the 1923 house has insulation, unless you did it, so maybe that's why you're always out working in the heat. It's hot inside too.
My 1956 house isn't well insulated either, yet does OK in a couple days of heat.
I'm going to wait until it cools a bit, and drop the tank on my '90 Toyota pickup truck, as it needs a new fuel pump, I think, runs like a clogged filter, yet a new filter didn't change it. At 266,000 miles, a new fuel pump can't hurt. Need to make that road worthy, before some MB repairs, though haven't been driving much lately.

I got home yesterday and it was blistering hot so of course I decided to work on my '82 240D ~ I did a hot oil & filter change then I finished up re installing the replacement headlight switch (I drove it at night holding it to check for hot terminals) and a couple other little service things .
My 1923 house isn't air conditioned so it depends on the back porch exhaust fan to suck out all the heat from the refrigerator, it's amazing how a single refri can heat up an entire 1558 square foot house .
I use LESKO branded 21" box fans, I get a few years out of each one before they quit ~ this time I took it apart and used my "Zoom Spout" oiler to work some electric motor oil into the bearings, after a few moments of hand spinning the motor it was free again so I re assembled it and plugged it in, so far so good .
My brother Tom's Man Cave has a Chinese fan that quit, I think I'll take it apart and see if I can save it to the next time I know he's over there .
Summer is here .
